1 Affordable Off-Road 2024 Ford F-150 Option Is Missing
People couldn’t get enough of the Ford F-150 Rattler package. In fact, this off-roading bargain sold out very quickly, leaving some drivers out of luck. Now, the future of the 2024 Ford F-150 Rattler remains uncertain because it’s currently missing from the line-up.
Where is the 2024 Ford F-150 Rattler?
Unfortunately, there might not be a 2024 Ford F-150 Rattler package. You can access the 2024 F-150 build configurator to build and order your preferred model. However, the Rattler package is currently missing from the line-up.
Also, in all of the press releases and news about the mid-cycle refresh, the Ratter package isn’t mentioned. While supply chain constraints and the United Auto Workers (UAW) strike may cause delays for certain features, the limited items are still listed.
The 2023 F-150 Rattler offered significant appearance and off-roading upgrades without breaking the bank. It was an off-roading bargain and could be added to the entry-level XL model for $1,495.
With the Rattler package, you get standard 4×4, 18-inch aluminum dark-painted wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, off-road-tuned front shock absorbers, monotube rear shocks, protective skid plates, an electronically locking rear differential, hill descent control, and rock crawl mode.
Other aesthetic upgrades include a dual exhaust with dark tips, F-150 Rattler badging on the fenders, rattlesnake-inspired graphics, and onyx seats with bronze accent stitching to match the instrument panel.
You could get the F-150 Rattler for $36,080 before the destination fee and dealership markups were added in.
What is the cheapest 2024 F-150 off-roading package?
You have to move up to the 2024 Ford F-150 STX model for the FX4 Off-Road package. It’s also only available with the Super Crew build with a 5.5-foot bed. But changing the cab size on the build configurator doesn’t seem to be currently available.
But we do know that the FX4 package costs $2,180 to add. It comes with 18-inch black painted aluminum wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, skid plates, a dual exhaust, upgraded shocks, an electronically locking rear differential, and running boards.
The possible lowest price for the STX model with the FX4 package comes to about $46.075. That’s a massive jump from $36,080, even if the 2024 F-150 includes more standard power than the 2023 model.
The outgoing model has a standard 3.3-liter V6 engine with 290 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque. The 2024 F-150 has a standard turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 engine that cranks out 325 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque.
What comes with the 2024 F-150 Tremor?
The 2024 Ford F-150 Tremor starts at $63,590 and comes with the 5.0-liter V8 engine with 400 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque. It rides on 18-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch all-terrain tires to boost its ground clearance to 9.4 inches.
You also get standard 4×4, an off-road-tuned front and rear suspension with 1.7-inch twin-tube dampers, a locking rear differential, and driving modes for Rock Crawl and Trail Control.
It builds upon the XLT model with goodies such as power locking doors, heated side mirrors, carpet flooring, and front seat lumbar adjustment.
If you’re looking for a break with the 2024 F-150, you may have to wait a little longer. The line-up isn’t firing on all cylinders yet. Also, special packages and discounts could be added. Stay tuned for updates as we track America’s favorite full-size truck.
