Only 1 Brand Has 7 Electric Vehicles (EVs) and It’s Not Tesla
When most people hear the term electric vehicle or EV, they typically think of Tesla. This makes sense, as more than half the EVs sold in the U.S. in 2021 were made by Tesla. However, that doesn’t mean the Palo Alto-based carmaker boasts the most electric car models. In fact, only one brand has seven electric vehicle models, and it’s not Tesla.
Tesla’s current lineup of 4 electric vehicles
The Tesla Model 3 compact sedan has been the brand’s most affordable EV since its debut in 2017, and the company has no plans to discontinue this best seller.
With a starting price of around $95,000, the 2023 Tesla Model S full-size sedan delivers mind-bending thrust and is as easy to drive as a golf cart, according to Edmunds.
The Tesla 2023 Model Y compact SUV offers rapid acceleration, a wide battery range, regenerative braking, and extra generous cargo space.
With its EPA-estimated range of nearly 400 miles, the Tesla 2023 Model X midsize SUV can carry up to seven adults in comfort and style.
Tesla also anticipates releasing the Tesla Cybertruck and a new Roadster model in the near future. However, even if the number of available 2023 Tesla models reaches six, it still won’t measure up to the seven EVs offered by Audi.
