The best and worst minivan potential lifespans
According to this iSeeCars study, the minivan with the greatest lifespan potential is the Toyota Sienna, with a typical potential lifespan of 239,607 miles. In second place is the Honda Odyssey, with a potential lifespan of 235,852 miles; in third place is the tried and true Dodge Grand Caravan, with a potential lifespan of 209,350 miles. In last place is the Kia Sedona minivan, with a potential lifespan of 208,615 miles.
While the Kia Sedona minivan is the worst-ranked on this list, it is still quite a feat to make this study at all. Remember, to be included in this study, vehicles had to have been produced for 10 of the last 20 model years. With a potential lifespan of over 200,000 miles, the Kia Sedona is still an excellent option for used car buyers looking for a long-lasting minivan to depend on for years to come.
The Sedona nameplate has since been retired
While the Kia Sedona is no longer being produced, the legacy of the Sedona continues today under a different name. Recently, Kia decided to market their products under universal nameplates instead of changing their product names based on the country they are being sold in.
