Limited amount of low-end power

One of the biggest problems with the Ram 1500 V6 is that, as MotorTrend points out, it lacks the low-end power you’ll find in similar vehicles. This isn’t a problem if you’re simply using the vehicle to as your daily commuter or only haul light loads, but if you intend to haul construction wagons full of equipment, horse trailers, or loads of hay with the vehicle, you’ll struggle, especially if you’re hauling over hilly countryside. The vehicle simply lacks the torque found in similar trucks. It won’t be impossible to haul with the Ram 1500, just a bit more challenging. If you intend to use the truck for hauling, you’ll want to stick to the V8 which has the necessary power.
