Volkswagen has strategically planned its way into being an integral part of the electric future internationally. The German automaker has already produced two electric vehicles that could be best–sellers in the EV space for decades to come. These two Volkswagen electric vehicles are the future of VW EVs.

The Volkswagen ID.4 is a major player in the EV space

The Volkswagen ID.4 is the brand’s popular electric SUV. The ID.4 competes with best-selling electric SUVs internationally like the Tesla Model Y.

The VW ID.4 has the potential to become the most popular electric vehicle in the world sometime in the future. It starts at $41,230. The electric SUV achieves 245 miles of driving range.

The Volkswagen ID.4 has a quiet ride, plenty of cabin space, and it charges at a decent pace. It has all the makings of a best-selling EV, from affordability to range and style. The ID.4 is one of the few models to give the Tesla Model Y electric SUV a real challenge. It is currently outselling the Model Y in Europe. Volkswagen is adding even more updates to the EV for the 2023 model year.

The Volkswagen ID. Buzz is creating quite the Buzz

The Volkswagen ID. Buzz is the perfect mix of a blast from the past and a glimpse into the future. The electric microbus’ ancestors may have existed decades ago, but the nameplate is more modern than most vehicles on the market. Think groovy beach van meets The Jetsons.

The VW ID. Buzz is already available in the U.K., and it has intrigued several critics and automotive publications. Folks are buzzin’ about the Buzz because VW fans have been waiting on a new version of the classic beach/road trip microbus for years.

Few details are available on the American version of the electric minibus, but we know the likelihood of the ID. Buzz directly competing with anything else on the market when it arrives is extremely low. VW’s electric bus is unique (for now), and it’s tough to imagine any vehicle as innovative and niche that can rival the VW ID. Buzz. Car and Driver estimates that the Volkswagen ID. Buzz will start at $40,000 in America.

Volkswagen has the EV space in the palm of its hands with releases like the ID.4 and ID. Buzz. It produces vehicles that meet the demand for a compact SUV and gets creative enough to tackle a niche market like the ID. Buzz. VW is keeping it fresh and keeping it fun. It even has its own electric vehicle charging infrastructure subsidiary.

Volkswagen invested millions into its company Electrify America to provide charging services for electric vehicles across America. Clearly, the brand has embraced where the industry is headed in the future. The ID.4 and ID. Buzz ensure that the electric future is bright. What will the popular German automaker unleash on the world next?
