The first recall on the 2019 Toyota Tacoma was December 13, 2018. This recall affected 44,121 vehicles and was a problem with the brakes. Owners were warned of issues with the machining of the brakes of some vehicles.

They were encouraged to bring in their 2019 Tacomas to see if service was required for the brakes in order to prevent internal damage.
