Although the Nissan Titan has received a few changes for 2020—both in features and sales strategy—what hasn’t changed is the pickup’s factory support. Nissan has a dedicated Titan fanbase, and like other pickup fans, they like to personalize their trucks. At this year’s SEMA show, Nissan unveiled a range of factory accessories for the updated pickup. Here are the details for future inspiration.

2020 Nissan Titan Accessories: Off-Roading

The Titan PRO-4X trim already offers quite a few off-road upgrades. Some of these are an electronic locking rear differential, Rancho shocks, and 18” off-road wheels and tires. But off-road excursions can damage your truck. To help prevent this, Nissan will begin offering front and rear mud flaps for the PRO-4X trim.

But even non-PRO-4X owners venture off-road. To make sure they can, Nissan also debuted an optional sport bar. This attaches to the truck bed and roof and also features a set of 4 off-road lights, complete with individual covers. The fenders and grille can also be fitted with new marker lights, so drivers can place the truck more accurately. The lights even throw the Titan logo on the ground when lit.

Seeing a truck in an urban location isn’t unusual nowadays. Pickups are often working vehicles, and the Titan is no different. That’s why several accessories Nissan is debuting at SEMA help boost the Titan’s day-to-day usability.

To help owners access the bed, there’s a tailgate-mounted assist handle, and a rear bumper step assist. The bed itself can also be fitted with a sliding bed extender, as well as additional tie-down cleats. There’s also an optional Class III 4” drop hitch ball mount. This should let the Titan tow larger loads, although towing capacity and GCWR figures have not been revealed yet.

But trucks don’t just haul cargo—they also move people. That’s why the SEMA Titan also features new step boards. And once passengers step up to the cabin, they can walk over illuminated kick plates and door scuff protectors, and onto all-season floor mats.

2020 Nissan Titan SEMA Accessory Pricing and Availability

Nissan hasn’t released official pricing for the new accessories yet. There’s also no specific release date, either. However, they will be available through Nissan dealers—and the 2020 Titan and Titan XD trucks aren’t expected there until early next year.

As official Nissan accessories, they will be installed by the dealer at the time of order. They are also covered by a 5-year/100,000-mile warranty. With how long people keep their Titans, these accessories should serve owners for many years beyond the warranty.
