The 2021 Audi A8 Is Just Large Enough to Be the Second Roomiest Sedan of the Year
Sedans are a popular option for drivers, but one of the main drawbacks of sedans is that they’re usually not too comfortable to be in. That being said, there are still roomy sedans on the market, and the 2021 Audi A8 is the second roomiest sedan of them all this year. Here’s a look at the 2021 Audi A8 and why it’s not just roomy but also a good luxury car.
The roomiest sedans available right now
U.S. News recently created a list of the roomiest sedans on the market right now, and there were a few surprises. For example, the 2021 Honda Accord came in at third place overall. This was a surprise because the Accord is a midsize sedan, and it was competing against a lot of full-size sedans. However, the Accord has 42.3 inches of front legroom and 40.4 inches of rear legroom. Combined with its 8.1 out of 10 interior score, it’s easy to see why it was in third place.
The Audi A8, of course, was in second place. It’s a full-size luxury car, and it has 41.5 inches of front legroom and 44.3 inches of rear legroom. It got an interior score of 8.6 out of 10, making sense since it’s an Audi. First place, however, went to the 2021 BMW 7 Series. This was a very close race, though. The BMW has 41.4 inches of front legroom and 44.4 inches of rear legroom. Similarly, its interior score was also 8.6 out of 10.
A look inside the 2021 Audi A8
Clearly, the Audi has plenty of legroom in the front and back. However, the A8 did well for other reasons, too. For example, the A8 has a very luxurious interior. Off the bat, as U.S. News wrote, the Audi A8’s seats come with Valetta leather upholstery. On top of that, its seats are 22-way power-adjustable, heated, and ventilated.
A8 owners can even upgrade their Audi to have massaging front seats, as well as a heated steering wheel, heated armrests, and more. So, not only does the A8 have enough space to seat people comfortably, but it also has a lot of gadgets and gizmos that enhance the experience. However, Audi didn’t stop there. As U.S. News wrote, the standard A8 also has two touch screens, a 17-speaker premium sound system, a panoramic sunroof, and more.
However, the A8 isn’t perfect. It doesn’t have too much cargo space. Additionally, since it’s a luxury full-size sedan from Audi, it won’t be cheap. At the very least, though, Audi has quite a few options available for customers.
How much the 2021 Audi A8 costs
The standard A8, according to U.S. News, starts at about $87,000. Audi being Audi, however, offers a few engine options so that folks can get the perfect driving experience.
