The Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, BMW 530e, and Ford Escape Plug-In Hybrid also earned nods.

And the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid won in the hybrid minivan class, beating out its biggest rival, the fan-favorite Toyota Sienna.

The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid impressed the Good Housekeeping team. And beating out the best-selling minivan, which according to Newsweek is the Toyota Sienna, is a big deal. The Sienna has sold 57,642 units this year, nearly 10,000 more than the Pacifica’s 47,571.

Why Good Housekeeping picked the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica

First, the GH team loves the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid’s spaciousness. You might as well have a house on wheels when you’re talking about the cavernous interior room.

This three-row, seven-passenger minivan offers either a traditional V6 engine or a plug-in hybrid powertrain. It’s been a top pick for GH now three years in a row. The EPA rates the PHEV Pacifica at 82 MPGe and the gas model at 30 mpg combined, making either configuration a good value.

Some of this minivan’s standout features include an updated infotainment system, complete with a 10-inch screen, Android and Apple pairing, and Alexa integration.
