A travel trailer is a great type of RV. If you already have a truck, connecting the trailer and pulling it to a place where one can set up their camp can be rewarding. Once the set up is done, the truck can be unhitched and used for running errands. Meanwhile, the RV is left behind for the rest of the family to enjoy. The 2021 Heartland Prowler 315BH can sleep 10 people. It has a bunkhouse to make that easy. As a bonus, the trailer also has one and a half bathrooms at both ends of the unit. Yup, the 36-foot trailer RV has more than one bathroom. This is unusual for trailers in the same price range. This unit starts at $31,005. 

In addition to the bunkhouse and the bonus half bath, the kitchen of the RV has a lot of counter and storage space. This storage space even includes a full-height pantry. A large pantry is nice to have when you need to store supplies for up to 10 people. So, is the large refrigerator. 

The living room of the Heartland Prowler has a slide-out for extra space. That space houses a sofa that converts into a sleeper. Of course, the dinette also converts into an additional sleeping area for two people. A nicely placed entertainment center is placed directly across from the sofa for viewing pleasure. Thankfully, the trailer also has a ducted air conditioner unit for better air distribution efficiency. 

The exterior of the RV

The nice touches carry through outdoors as well. For example, to entertain a large group of friends or family, one needs an outdoor kitchen. The 2021 Heartland Prowler 315BH has such an animal. Also, the previously mentioned slide-out is not on the entry or camp side. It is on the opposite side. This means that there won’t be instances of people bumping their heads into the slide-out. Additionally, the RVs camp side has a 17-foot long awning, one of the larger ones out there. 

Options for the Heartland Prowler RV

Trailers aren’t home until they have that personal touch. What could be more personal than choosing from a select list of options to make the RV more in keeping with the family’s character? For example, maybe the smaller ones and the family pet like to play in the mud. For those instances, there is the option of an outdoor shower that can be added. There is also a convenience package that can be handy for those that do the camp set up. It includes power stabilizer jacks, a power awning, and a black tank flush. 

Overall, the 2021 Heartland Prowler 315BH is a very nice floor plan that allows for many friends or family to enjoy great camping together, but in a safe indoor environment. The RV is so well respected that it became one of Camping World’s “Partner Pick” in this year’s The Ultimate RV Show. So, the Prowler is worthy of a look if one is ready to buy a travel trailer.
