A more enjoyable ride

The Audi RS models available offer drivers a sporty and refined drive. This can lead to a rougher ride in many cases, but as MotorTrend notes, the new 2022 Audi RS3 is much more comfortable. This comfort is thanks to a new suspension set-up that is more forgiving than in models past. Older models of the Audi RS3 utilized a magnetic shock system that had two damping rates. The newest compact performance sedan uses the RS Sport Suspension Plus system and Dynamic Chassis Control. 

The big change to this new suspension is that the dampers offer a more comprehensive selection of adjustments. Each damper is controlled electronically, allowing the new 2022 RS3 to handle a broader quality of roads with poise. In Comfort mode specifically, which is still primarily geared toward the track, long rides can be much more enjoyable.

The final change that comes along is the inclusion of the RS Torque Splitter. Initially found in the new Volkswagen Golf R, this new technology allows a more efficient torque split. It will enable the 2022 Audi RS3 to use specialized tuning to transfer up to 100 percent of rear-wheel torque to either side, keeping the chassis more stable. The 2022 Audi RS3 can easily drift a corner if you turn to the Torque Rear mode.

The 2022 Audi RS3 is ideal for any road

While the new Audi RS3 will be the most fun on the track, you can comfortably drive this around town or on the back roads. Of course, the new suspension helps, but a few other changes make this sedan an all-around monster. There are available carbon-ceramic brakes, but they are a part of a $5,500 package, but the regular brakes are more than capable. The standard brakes are larger than older models and have better cooling to keep them performing optimally for longer. 

In addition to the standard brakes and optional packages, including a sportier variable sport exhaust, this new performance sedan also comes with the legendary Quattro all-wheel drive system. This all-wheel drive system will make it easier to handle the power of the turbocharged five-cylinder engine and offer supreme confidence in inclement weather.
