2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E Prices Are Getting Sky High
Prices for the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E are going up, up, up! Forget about the Ford Mustang Mach-E pricing that was announced earlier in the year. You might feel bad for not purchasing this EV SUV before it get more expensive.
How much is the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E?
Depending on which 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E trim you choose, the pricing could be $1,000 to $2,000 more.
The new prices for each trim include:
- Mustang Mach-E Select RWD $44,995 ($1,000 more)
- Mustang Mach-E Select AWD $47,695 ($1,000 more)
- Mustang Mach-E Premium RWD $50,200 ($1,000 more)

- Mustang Mach-E GT $63,095 ($2,000 more)
- Mustang Mach-E GT Performance ($69,095) ($2,000 more)
The new prices are live on the configurator. Also, it’s a little odd to see significant price increases mid-model year for any vehicle. But perhaps limited availability due to the ongoing semiconductor chip shortage is to blame.
At least the Mustang Mach-E isn’t copying the Tesla Model Y Long Range, which tacked on a $10,000 increase without any significant updates to justify it.
What’s new for the 2022 Mach-E?
The 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E gained a little extra juice. The standard battery pack increased from 68.0 to 70.0 kWh of usable battery capacity, and the optional extended range battery pack went from 88.0 to 91.0 kWh.
However, Ford mentioned that the EPA isn’t going to retest the 2022 Mach-E. So while the range should be boosted, the Mach-E still lists an EPA-estimated 211 miles for the standard AWD model and up to 305 miles for the California Route 1 model.
The California Route 1 model is now available with AWD. This trim also now includes standard heated seats and a heated steering wheel. The GT trim comes with a standard black roof too, which used to be a $385 option.
Iconic Silver and the Carbonized Gray paint colors are no longer available. They’re being replaced by a shade of Iced Blue Silver Metallic. Grabber Blue and Cyber Orange used to be exclusive to the GT model but now are available across the board.
What about the Mustang Mach-E Ice White Edition?
We can’t forget about the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E Ice White Edition! This is an appearance package for the Premium trims. We apologize for being corny, but this edition is cool as ice.
It comes with Star White Metallic Tri-Coat paint on the bodywork, mirror caps, and pockets of the 19-inch machine-face aluminum wheels. The pony badges pop with a matching shade of Oxford White.
The interior consists of matching accents. The seats, center console, and door-panel armrests are covered in Light Space Gray. The instrument panel includes a Bright Silver hex pattern. Pricing for this package hasn’t been announced.
