Ford is offering the 2022 Ford Ranger in multiple Splash Limited Edition packages including Snow Edition, Forest Edition, and Sand Edition. 2022 Ford Ranger Splash Limited Edition
Thus far there are four different 2022 Ford Ranger Splash Edition Packages. The first to arrive was the 90’s-inspired orange and black Splash Edition. Next came the Snow Edition. Now, Ford has announced Forest Edition and Sand Edition.
The Splash Edition features special seats and orange stitching as well as other interior changes exclusive to this package. It comes with 18-inch matte black wheels. The compact truck also features black body-side graphics.
Ford uses gloss-black paint for the fender vents and bumper. The original orange Splash Edition is only available on crew-cab XLT and Lariat models. The package costs $1,495.
2022 Ford Ranger Snow Edition, Forest Edition, and Sand Edition
The 2022 Ford Ranger Snow Edition comes in Ford’s Avalanche color. The Ranger Lariat Snow Edition features Ash Gray contrast stitching on black leather upholstery. The seats will include stripes that resemble carbon-fiber. Ford will release close to 750 Ranger Snow Edition models in the spring. It is only available for the Lariat trim.
The Ranger Sand Edition comes in Ford’s Desert Sand Color. It has red grille nostrils instead of the same color grille nostrils as its body like the Splash and Snow Editions. Ford will release close to 500 models of this exclusive package in the summer. It is only available for the XLT trim.
Last, but certainly not least, is the Forest Edition. Ford’s Ranger Forest Edition comes in Forged Green. It features red grille nostrils like the Sand Edition. Ford will release close to 500 Forest Edition models this summer. It is only available on the XLT trim.
All Splash Edition Packages cost $1,495. None of the packages offer any performance upgrades or unique capabilities. However, the exclusivity of the packages make them worthwhile for Ford fans who want to stand out from the crowd.
