How much does the 2022 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate cost? 

The 2022 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate price starts at $81,690. We know, that’s a little shocking. However, you can think of it as the fully loaded GMC Sierra 1500. It includes every single option that is included and excluded from other trims. 

But you can get the Denali trim for $63,695. So, going up another level costs nearly $18,000. Plus, these prices are the MSRPs, so the destination fee and dealership markups aren’t included. 

The base model starts at $36,295 with an interior that includes vinyl flooring and the basics. It’s a work truck designed to take a beating instead of being a luxurious powerhouse. 

One of the best advantages of upgrading includes access to the Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance system and extra text to make towing easier. 

What comes with the Sierra Denali Ultimate? 

The 2022 GMC Sierra Denali Ulitmate comes with tons of bells and whistles. The Denali trim is available with each engine except for the standard 2.7-liter four-cylinder unit. With 4×4, it includes a two-speed transfer case. 

It rides on 20-inch wheels and has an upgraded Denali adaptive suspension to improve the ride quality and handling. Edmunds suggests the sierra 1500 has a stiff ride, but the upgraded suspension smooths all those issues away. 

We found the Denali Ultimate to be incredibly smooth with a peacefully silent interior. The truck even feels confident and well-crafted while going over rough patches of rock in the wild. 

Anyways, the Denali also comes with side steps, a rear power window, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a Bose audio system, and a wireless charging pad. 

Upgrades for towing include an integrated trailer brake controller, in-bed camera view, spray-in bed liner, and trailer side blind-spot assist. 

The Denali Ultimate package adds 20-inch wheels, a carbon-fiber composite bed, a sunroof, a head-up display, power deploying side steps, massage seats, tailgate-mounted speakers, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, and a virtual camera mirror. 

Is the Sierra Denali Ultimate comfortable? 

Yes, the 2022 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate is comfortable. The large, supportive 16-way adjustable seats make it easy to find the perfect driving position. But the massagers are a little weak. 

The leather-wrapped surfaces feel soft yet well-constructed with high-quality materials. The open-pore wood trim has topographical Denali graphics etched in. The microsuede headliner provides a premium feel.

The dual-zone climate control is very impressive. It automatically sets the ideal temperature based on the weather. We never had to make any adjustments. Also, the heated and ventilated seats are fast and effective. 

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. It’s easy to connect your phone without any wires, and the Bose system is immersive with exceptional quality. 

The head-up display, digital gauge cluster, and infotainment system have crisp, clear graphics and are easy to customize. 

Overall, the Denali Ultimate provides more tech, extra convenience, a better ride, the complete towing package, and higher quality materials. For $81,690, it does not fall short of luxurious expectations.
