While the 2022 GMC Yukon Denali is big and modern, it still has all the feel of a GMC SUV you know and love. The Yukon has two engine choices: 420 hp 6.2L V8 or a 277 hp 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel. Buyers can choose from two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive for the GMC Yukon Denali. The two-wheel drive and V8 engine will get buyers an 8,200 pound towing capacity.

The standard V8 engine gets an EPA-estimated mpg MPG of 14 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. The regular Yukon gets 648 miles on a full tank with the turbo-diesel. The Yukon XL gets 756 miles on a full tank. It has room for eight and plenty of room for everyone, even in the third row.

It also comes in the regular Denali trim with an overall length of 210 inches. The XL Denali measures 225.2 inches long. Both are 76.5″ high. GMC added a new Denali grille, C-shaped headlamps/taillamps, and a new dual exhaust system. GMC added a rear camera mirror for better visibility out the back. Plus, there are 13 available camera views surrounding the SUV.

More safety offerings are included with the GMC Pro Safety Plus standard package. This includes Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Keep Assist With Lane Departure Warning, and Automatic Emergency Braking. The GMC Yukon Denali also has Forward Collison Alert and Front Pedestrian Braking.

The 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is a new venture into luxury SUVs for the brand

The 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer has hit the market, and people are clamoring for the new luxury SUV. You don’t always associate the Jeep brand with luxury, but the automaker wants to change that. The base model Jeep Grand Wagoneer starts at $88,640, but the 2022 Grand Wagoneer Series III 4×4 starts at $107,995. It goes much higher than that, too.

The Grand Wagoneer is a good full-size SUV option for those who love the Jeep brand. It comes with the 471 hp 6.4L V8, but four-wheel drive is the only option. The Jeep Grand Wagoneer can tow up to 10,000 pounds with certain configurations and has a few varieties: Series I, Series II, Series III, and Obsidian. The Series I gets 13 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway. This Jeep SUV has room for seven and a payload capacity of 1,450 pounds. The overall exterior length is 214.7 inches, and it measures 75.6 inches tall.

For safety, Active Drive Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control help keep you safe. It also has a night vision camera, active lane management, and even something called Intersection Collision Assist is an option.

Full-size SUVs are in, but watch out for high prices

Some lifestyles simply need a full-size SUV to get through the day-to-day. Those with a large family or someone who takes a lot of road trips might need more cargo space and rows for all passengers. But as these SUVs grow in size, so does the price.

The GMC Yukon Denali XL starts at $70,045 for the turbo diesel engine, but the V8 starts at $71,695. The packages range from $465 for the max trailering all the way up to the $7,815 Denali reserve package. The advanced technology package is $1,880 but has a lot of important safety features. A fully-spec’d out 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer will inch past $125,000. The heavy-duty trailer package is $995 and is a good buy for those who need it. It is a luxury offering from a non-luxury brand, but people might find it worth it.

Both SUVs have plenty of pros and fewer cons, but it is always a good idea to take it for a test drive. Plus, how long is the wait to get the GMC or Jeep right now? The more popular it is, the harder the vehicle is to get ahold of.
