While it may not be a full-on dealbreaker, this lacked rear wiper is most certainly annoying.

We are unsure why Hyundai left out the rear wiper. Plenty of vehicles with this design feature it blatantly or have found a way to hide the wiper for a more clean look. For over $40,000, surely these manufacturers could have done the same with the EV crossovers that are offered.
Is the 2022 Ioniq 5 a good EV?
Outside of the lack of a rear wiper, the Ioniq 5 is decent enough. It has stylish design and an array of modern features that add to comfort and convenience. Additionally, this EV has a range of up to 303 miles and offers up to 320 horsepower. Which should be ample electric performance and enough range to reduce range anxiety.
Better yet, if you are shopping for an EV with all-wheel drive, the 2022 Ioniq 5 does offer AWD. Because of this, the Ioniq 5 can function well in winter, if you can overlook the absence of a wiper for the rear window.
