According to Global Village Space, the 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz is expected to begin around $25,000. This might be the price for the base model, known as the Hyundai Santa Cruz SE.

The two mid-range trim options are the SEL and SEL Premium models. They are expected to begin at $27,000 and $30,000. The top of the line trim is the Santa Cruz Limited. It could start at about $35,000.

What comes with the Hyundai Santa Cruz SE?

According to Autoblog, the 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz SE comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that’s paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It provides 190 hp and 180 lb-ft of torque. This is a solid amount of power for a base model.

It comes with an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You can add all-wheel drive to this model. The basic model can tow up to 3,500 lbs and carry a payload of up to 1,748 lbs. Standard safety features include automatic emergency braking and lane-keeping assistance.

If you upgrade to the SEL trim, you still get the 2.5-liter engine, but a few extra technology and convenience features are included. For example, you get the proximity key with the push-button start, an eight-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support, a heated driver’s seat, and heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals.

The Hyundai Santa Cruz SEL trim also comes with blind-spot collision avoidance and Hyundai’s Bluelink connected car system. There is an optional 10.25-inch digital cluster display. Also, you can add an optional Activity Package, but Hyundai hasn’t disclosed what’s included aside from added technology and storage solutions.

The 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz SEL Premium gains extra muscle. It comes with the 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 275 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. We bet this model can giddy up! The additional power allows this model to tow up to 5,000 lbs, which is the same amount that the Honda Ridgeline can tow.

This variant also gets the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters for a sportier experience. The extra bells and whistles include LED headlights, dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror supported by HomeLink, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter. Plus, with the SEL, you can use your phone as the truck key!

Alright, it’s time for the top-of-the-line Hyundai Santa Cruz Limited trim to shine. It includes a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen system with integrated navigation, a premium Bose sound system, heated and ventilated seats, and a heated steering wheel.

One of the most exciting upgrades includes the Blind Spot View Monitor that displays your corresponding blind spot through a camera feed in the infotainment screen as you use your turn signals. The Santa Cruz Limited trim also includes dark chrome exterior accents, and you can beef up its look with optional 20-inch alloy wheels.

There are six Hyundai Santa Cruz paint colors to choose from, including Ice White, Hampton Grey, Sage Gray, Blue Stone, Desert Sand, and Phantom Black. Final pricing hasn’t been revealed, but you can reserve your truck with Hyundai with a refundable $100 deposit.
