How much does the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe cost?

The 2022 Santa Fe price starts at $27,400 for the base model. It’s a nice entry-level price for a midsize two-row SUV that has lots going for it. The Santa Fe price, however, can reach as high as $42,810. That’s for the Calligraphy, the high-end trim level of the Santa Fe, and for that extra money you get a lot of nice features and a more luxurious interior.. In between those two are the SEL, with a starting price of $29,150, and the XRT at $32,450. The Limited sits just below the Calligraphy, at $39,110.

The Hyundai Santa Fe comes standard with a 2.5-liter inline-4 that makes 191 hp and 181 lb-ft of torque matched to an 8-speed automatic transmission. It gets a combined 26 mpg, with 25 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. It can also tow up to 2,000 pounds.

What is the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid price?

The Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid price starts at $33,900 for the base model SUV. Clearly, that’s more expensive than the standard Hyundai Santa Fe, though you’ll certainly save some money on gas. The high-end Santa Fe Hybrid Limited price starts at $40,310. There’s an SEL Premium in between those for $37,960. So what do you get for your money? You’ll get a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder turbo gas and electric hybrid engine matched to a six-speed automatic transmission.

You can load up your Hyundai Santa Fe Limited for $42,520. That will also get you a cargo screen, cargo net and package, tray, and carpeted floor mats. It also has a first aid kit and mudguards. That price also includes a rear bumper applique, roof rack crossbars, tow hitch, and wheel locks.

How does the Hybrid Santa Fe’s fuel economy compare?

The 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Limited gets 32 mpg combined MPG, with 33 city MPG and 30 highway MPG. In comparison, the regular Hyundai Santa Fe gets 25 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. That’s a pretty big difference per tank of gas, and might make you consider a hybrid SUV.

Those who are in the market for a midsize two-row SUV, you really can’t go wrong with either 2022 Santa Fe. If you find yourself drawn to one particular model over the other, it should be an easy decision. If, however, you’re torn between the Santa Fe and its hybrid twin and the initial cost is no concern, then you may want to go with the Santa Fe Hybrid. Its fuel-efficiency and extra range make it the better choice.
