The 2022 Infiniti Q50 sedan has gained more intelligent features to match its confident exterior styling and luxury tailored interior. One of the most exciting upgrades includes the addition of Wireless Apple CarPlay.

Now you can connect your phone to Apple CarPlay without having to plug it in. The Wireless functionality provides convenience without sacrificing the craftsman’s touch. Android Auto still requires a cable, but a USB-C port is provided.

The dual-screen Infiniti InTouch infotainment system remains unchanged. You can choose what information to display as far as your navigation and podcasts. Also, the screens can be operated with the dial or as touchscreens.

Plus, each model now includes standard Bose Performance Series Audio. It’s a 16-speaker audio system with Bose Centerpoint simulated surround sound that delivers a rich, balanced, and nuanced sound throughout the cabin.

Did the 2022 Q50 gain interior upgrades?

Yes, the 2022 Infiniti Q50 gained incredible interior upgrades. Leather-appointed seats come standard with each model. Also, new Saddle Brown leather-appointed seats are included as optional equipment.

The zero-gravity spinal support Infiniti seats were carefully engineered to provide consistent support and minimize pressure on lower and upper back muscles. The seats in the front and rear distribute body pressure across a broader range of the upper seating surface.

You’ll find that the spacious interior provides plenty of space. Headroom is abundant in the front and rear. Plus, the knee room is enhanced by the thin front seatback design and wide-range front seat slide and lift adjustability.

Along with Saddle-Brown, you can opt for Graphite or Stone leather-appointed surfaces. The Infiniti Q50 gains semi-aniline leather-appointed seats that can be finished in Gallery White or Graphite with Red stitching.

How much heat does the Infiniti Q50 provide?

Each 2022 Infiniti Q50 sedan is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that generates 300 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. You can upgrade to the Red Sport 400 model for 400 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque.

Rear-wheel drive is standard, but you can opt for all-wheel drive. The powertrain is paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. But the paddle shifters allow you to operate the vehicle manually.

The Infiniti Q50 can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 4.9 seconds with 300 hp. The Red Sport reached 60 mph in about 4.5 seconds. The transmission is smooth, the cornering is responsive, and the brakes are confident.

With the Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400, you get an extra water pump to aid in cooling and an optical turbine speed sensor. This enables the Red Sport to operate at a higher capacity.

You can get started in a 2022 Infiniti Q50 for about $42,100. This includes Wireless Apple CarPlay, leather seats, 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, Bose Performance Series Audio, and more. AWD can be added for $2,000.
