Take the 2022 Jeep Compass off-road, you won’t regret it
The 2022 Jeep Compass comes with two Jeep 4×4 systems and a Selec-Terrain traction management system for all of your off-roading needs. Stellantis says these can “send 100% of available torque to any one wheel.” It has upgraded suspension tuning for a better ride on and off-road, plus a new steering system.
Jeep Active Drive and Active Drive Low 4×4 systems are included and instantly engage when the driver needs it. This helps the rear wheels grip when traction might be few and far between. Jeep Active Drive Low comes on the Trailhawk version and offers a “20:1 crawl ratio and low range for 4×4 Trail Rated capability.” The SUV also offers four modes for whatever adventure you might find yourself on. These modes are Auto, Snow, Sand/Mud. The Compass Trailhawk also comes with rock mode.

If you want to get out the door for a deal, the Sport trim will get the job done. Some additional options and packages up the ante for those who need more, but it also raises the price. For instance, all-wheel drive will add $1,500. The Cold Weather package is a good idea for those in colder climates, along with the Advance Safety and Safety and Security packages. The Sun and Sound Group ($2,195) offers a dual-pane panoramic sunroof for picture-perfect views on your next adventure. It made a big difference when taking the Jeep Compass Limited off-road.
It’s all about the active safety features and warranty
These days, one of the most significant selling points comes from safety and driver-assistance features. The 2022 Jeep Compass comes with forward collision warning (FCW), automatic emergency braking (AEB), and lane departure warning (LDW). It also comes with lane-keeping assist (LKA) and blind-spot warning (BSW) standard. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) gave the Compass high scores in most of the crashworthiness tests.
The 2022 Jeep Compass has a three-year, 36,000-mile limited warranty. It also comes with a five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty. Jeep covers the maintenance for the first three years. With the starting MSRP of $25,590, the 2022 Compass is ready to impress people from start to finish.
