The 2022 Jeep Compass RED Edition Fights Back
While most trucks and SUVs gain some sort of black appearance package, the 2022 Jeep Compass is doing something a little different. The Jeep Compass Red Edition answers the call to serve the global fight against pandemics.
The 2022 Jeep Compass (RED) Edition helps fight
Jeep, Fiat, and Ram have come together with Bono to launch special-edition (RED) vehicles, including the 2022 Jeep Compass Red Edition. They serve the global fight against pandemics by delivering over $4 million to support the crucial work of the Global Fund during the next three years.
Co-founder Bono shared that the partnership with Jeep, Ram, and Fiat is a powerful shot in the arm for (RED)’s fight against pandemics and the complacency that fuels them. It’s hard to believe that 15 years after founding (RED), we are now fighting another virus.
But it’s even more challenging to see the virus of injustice that marked the AIDS pandemic, which is still alive and well during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Bono continued to share that less than 5 percent of people in Africa are fully vaccinated.
Meanwhile, vaccines are plentiful in Europe and America. We have to do more to quickly support hundreds of millions of people who don’t have access to vaccines, therapeutics, or sufficient personal protective equipment (PPE). Unless this pandemic is defeated everywhere, no one will be safe anywhere.
How will the Jeep Compass RED Edition help?
The 2022 Jeep Compass RED Edition is one of the first vehicles to join forces with (RED), and Stellantis serves as the first automotive brand to do so. Oliver Francois, Stellantis Global Cheif Marketing Officer, is proud to work with the leader in the worldwide fight against pandemics.
He explained that the immediate goal is to initiate a call to action to help battle global health emergencies, including COVID-19 relief efforts. This markering amplification plan across three unique brands will drive more impact, value, meaningful awareness globally for the partnership allows us to turn $4 million into something far more significant.
By joining the (RED) mission, the Jeep brand represents the unrivaled epitome of freedom and adventure. When the Pandemic struck, Jeep asked owners, fans, and followers to give up open-road freedom for the safety of themselves and others.
They launched a social media campaign with the hashtag #StayOFFTheRoad. It was a surprising but necessary messenger for the legendary off-road brand.
