The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee’s Price Was Accidentally Leaked – By Jeep
Jeep is overhauling their lineup for 2022, and one of those changes include to the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It’s gone through a major transformation, losing its third row and gaining some cool new features. Jeep only just revealed the 2022 Grand Cherokee, and pricing wasn’t supposed to be announced until it got closer to the new SUV’s release date. Yet someone messed up, or at least it seems that way, and for a brief time, the price for the 2022 Grand Cherokee was on Jeep’s website for all to see.
How much will the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?
Even though Jeep wasn’t ready to talk numbers, we may have unintentionally gotten an idea of their figures. If you went on Jeep’s website on October 7, 2021, and used their configurator, you could build your own 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee and find out just how much it might cost you. No sooner had the pricing been released on the configurator, than it disappeared. This indicates that Jeep didn’t intend to release the pricing, and it was accidentally leaked by either system or human error.
According to Motor1, that pricing isn’t necessarily definite. If it is accurate, or close to accurate, the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee’s price will increase a little bit. The cheapest 2022 Grand Cherokee, the Laredo, would start at $37,390, $2,420 more than the 2021 Laredo. The most expensive 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee would be the Summit Reserve, which may start at about $63,365, if Jeep’s configurator was right.
Will the Jeep Grand Cherokee change in 2022?
The Jeep Grand Cherokee will most certainly change in 2022. It’s been a long time since the Grand Cherokee underwent any major changes, but its time has come. Perhaps the biggest difference in the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee is its lack of a third row. However, the 2022 Grand Cherokee will also offer four-wheel drive on all trim levels. It will also have more options, and you could even get the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe, which is a hybrid version of the Grand Cherokee.
Are the 2022 Jeeps out yet?
The 2022 Jeeps aren’t out yet, but they’re coming. While the three-row Jeep Grand Cherokee L was first revealed in January of 2021, the two-row Grand Cherokee was only released recently. That means it’s likely that we’ll see the three-row Grand Cherokee L before the two-row Grand Cherokee. Jeep’s website says that the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee is coming in the winter of 2021. When exactly that is remains to be seen, as does final pricing.
The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee with its two rows should be an exciting addition to the Jeep family. It will be nice to see an updated Grand Cherokee on the roads, too. If you’ve been anxiously waiting for pricing on the new Grand Cherokee, you can probably estimate that the final pricing will be similar to what was accidentally leaked on Jeep’s website. And who knows? Maybe the leak will prompt Jeep to officially release the 2022 Grand Cherokee’s official price.
