What’s new for the 2022 Range Rover?

The biggest news about the Range Rover isn’t even for the 2022 model year. Land Rover has an all-electric model and a plug-in hybrid model in the works for the Range Rover. The plug-in hybrid model will be released for the 2023 model year, while the electric model will be released for the 2024 model year.

The 2022 Range Rover offers two engine options: a mild hybrid 3.0-liter turbocharged I6 and a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8. Output for the mild hybrid 3.0-liter turbocharged I6 is 395 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. For the 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8, the output is 523 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. When equipped with the twin-turbo V8 engine, the Range Rover can go from 0-60 mph in just 4.4 seconds.
