The 2022 Lexus LX 600 is here like a super fancy Land Cruiser. It’s more than just an incredibly nice Land Cruiser though. The 2022 LX 600 has a whole lot to offer, and if you’re willing to pay extra, you can have an SUV so nice, you’ll think you’re in a private jet. The newest addition to the Lexus lineup of vehicles includes an Ultra Luxury package which, as the name suggests, adds an even higher-end element to an already nice SUV.

The 2022 Lexus LX 600 has an Ultra Luxury package

If you’re considering buying the 2022 Lexus LX 600, you’re probably already aware of all that the 2022 LX 600 has to offer; a twin-turbo 3.9-liter V6 that can put out 409-hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. It comes standard with four-wheel drive and is matched to a ten-speed automatic transmission. 

And, since it’s a Lexus, you know it will be nice. Just how nice? If you want an SUV that will make you feel like you’re riding in your own private jet, the 2022 Lexus LX 600 with the Ultra Luxury package is the way to go. According to Lexus, the Ultra Luxury package offers four independent seats and the seats can recline up to 48 degrees. In addition, the rear seat display, which is behind the front seats, can fold down. This allows the back seats to have even more leg room.

The Ultra Luxury package in the 2022 Lexus LX 600 has more than just a flexible seating arrangement. The rear seats have curved headrests, seats and cushions. You’ll feel like you’re in a leathery hug. Lexus adds that “all-new crafted VIP seating helps to offset any lateral G-forces and irregular road surfaces. The seats are shaped to help maintain a secure posture, while the use of soft urethane with superior vibration absorption performance helps to suppress unwanted movement – even in off-road driving conditions.”

There’s also a rear control panel which controls everything in the backseat. There’s a wireless charger back there, which is fantastic if you have teenagers. There’s even a console for rear passengers, complete with a DC power supply, as well as USB and headphone charging ports. Cup holders even come with a lid.

How different is the 2022 LX 600?

The 2022 Lexus LX 600 looks very different from older incarnations of the luxury SUV, and of the Toyota Land Cruiser. Of course, it still look like a Lexus, with the familiar grille, which is oversized on the latest model. While the typical Lexus is known for its curves, the new 2022 Lexus LX is boxier, more like the Land Cruiser than the typical Lexus. 

The interior, even if you don’t opt for the LX 600 Ultra Luxury Package, will have the kind of luxury that LX 600 owners would expect. After all, the 2022 Lexus LX 600 starts at $90,000. For that much money, customers will want a freshly designed, top-of-the-line cabin to ride in. And by all indications, they’ll get it. 

The 2022 Lexus LX 600 might have some serious similarities with the Land Cruiser, but if you buy the Ultra Luxury package, you’ll never even remember that. Instead, you’ll wonder when your flight is landing, and if you brought enough flip flops for your vacation.
