The 2022 Acura MDX is a really nice luxury SUV and Parents Magazine says it’s the best for families. So what makes the new Acura MDX so great? Parents Magazine says that it’s the MDX’s combination of the features of a luxury SUV with the family-friendliness of a minivan. “Acura incorporated many of Honda Odyssey’s best features into this chic, sporty, fun to drive SUV.”

The 2022 MDX is versatile, with a second-row that can be either a bench seat or captains chairs just by removing the center seat. Even the base model comes with nice features like a panoramic sunroof, simulated leather, and heated front seats.

The Acura MDX has enough technology to keep you happy

If you look for the most updated technology in your SUV, you’ll be happy with the MDX. The Acura MDX comes with a 12.3-inch central display, a 9-speaker sound system, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. It also has a wireless charging pad, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and USB ports in the first and second rows. The base model also comes with Acura’s suite of important safety features.

The 2022 Acura MDX price starts at $49,195. You’ll get a 3.5-liter V6 engine that makes 290 ho and 267 lb-ft of torque. There are also packages you can add on, such as the Technology package which makes the cost of the MDX $53,750. This adds 20-inch wheels, front and rear parking sensors, and a navigation system. It also ups the sound system to a 12-speaker setup. 

There’s also an A-Spec that starts at $59,450.  This trim level builds on the Technology with a sporty appearance, cabin intercom system and ventilated front seats. That 12-speaker sound system also becomes a 16-speaker system in the A-Spec. 

All the way up the MDX ladder is the Type S Advance. This will cost you a pretty penny at $72,700 and includes a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that makes 355 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque. It also has an adaptive air-suspension, 21-inch wheels, and a 25-speaker sound system. In addition, the front seats have a massage function.
