You can call the Hyundai Santa Cruz a Sport Adventure Vehicle
Coming in hot behind the Maverick is the new 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz, but don’t call it a truck. While the Santa Cruz looks like a truck and acts like a truck, Hyundai actually calls it a Sport Adventure Vehicle. Beyond that, it comes with AEB and LKA standard. Adaptive cruise control is achieved with a pricy jump to the top-of-the-line Limited model ($39,720). But that also gets you an upgraded engine and everything else you could want from a Sport Adventure Vehicle.

The Honda Ridgeline is part truck, part SUV
The 2022 Honda Ridgeline is another one of those vehicles that has the looks of a truck but drives more like a comfortable SUV. Comparable to a midsize pickup truck, it comes with a lot of equipment standard already. Honda added adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping steering, and AEB. On levels above the base model, BSM is also included. The 2022 Honda Ridgeline pickup truck does it all and wraps it in a nice package, just don’t try to tow too much.
Base price: $36,890
It might be big, but the Ford F-150 pickup truck has a lot to offer
The 2022 Ford F-150 might be the most basic pickup truck on this list, and that’s saying a lot. The newest version of America’s favorite truck has more features than ever. BlueCreise is optional, which allows drivers to take hands off the wheels under certain conditions. Plus, it comes standard with AEB. All but the base model also come with LKA and BSM. Unfortunately, adaptive cruise control is a pretty costly addition.
Base price: $29,990
It seems that most pickup trucks are easing into the self-driving features in 2022. By 2023, more of these additions should start to be more frequent additions to the base models.
