- A supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with 702 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque, for the TRX only
The 2022 Ram 1500 trim levels begin with the Tradesman
The 2022 Ram 1500 Tradesman is the base model pickup truck and its price is $38,370. The Ram Tradesman comes standard with 18-inch steel wheels, black bumpers and door handles, and heated side mirrors. It also comes with remote keyless entry, cruise control, and a 5-inch infotainment system. In addition, the Tradesman has a six-speaker stereo, trailer sway damping, and is compatible with Bluetooth.
The Big Horn/Lone Star ups the Ram game
The 2022 Ram 1500 Big Horn is the next step up the Ram ladder. In Texas, the Big Horn is called the Lone Star. It starts at $43,095 and it adds chrome bumpers, body-colored door handles, and extra storage. Edmunds says the advantage to buying the Big Horn/Lone Star is the availability of options that allow you to add safety and technology features to your truck.
The Ram 1500 Rebel is an off-road Ram
The 2022 Ram 1500 Rebel price starts at $49,545. It adds LED lights, an upgraded suspension, and a power-sliding rear window. It also has all-terrain tires, a full-size spare tire, and hill descent control. In addition, the Rebel comes with underbody skid plates, tow hooks, and an electronic locking rear axle. A class IV trailer-towing receiver hitch, interior storage binds under the back floor, and forward collision mitigation round up the Rebel.
The Ram Laramie builds on the Big Horn
The 2022 Ram 1500 Laramie builds on the Big Horn. It costs $48,195 and it adds heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and power-adjustable pedals. It also upgrades the touchscreen to 8.4-inches and is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition, the Laramie has satellite radio, Wi-Fi, and Ram Connect. Finally, the Ram Laramie includes a nine-speaker sound system and forward collision mitigation.
The Longhorn is even nicer than the Laramie
Priced at $55,625, the 2022 Ram 1500 Longhorn bumps the wheels up to 20-inch aluminum wheels and upgrades the LED headlights, adding automatic high beams. The Longhorn also has rain-sensing windshield wipers, side steps, and a spray-in bedliner. In addition, it has in-bed lighting, a power tailgate release, and reclining heated rear seats. A navigation system and front and rear parking sensors also come standard in the Ram Longhorn.
The Ram Limited is luxurious
The 2022 Ram 1500 Limited is a luxury pickup truck. It starts at $60,655 and it has an upgraded engine. It comes standard with a 5.7-liter V8 engine and a four-corner air suspension, power-deployable running boards, and a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system. In addition, it comes with a wireless charging pad and blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert.
The Ram TRX is an off-road pickup
The 2022 Ram 1500 TRX price starts at $74,085. It is an off-road pickup truck with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine matched to four-wheel drive. The TRX also comes with amber LED lights, flared fenders, and an upgraded engine cooling system.
