We have exciting news for monster truck fans because the Ram 1500 TRX has a new special edition to drool over. However, the 2022 Ram TRX Sandblast won’t be cheap. See how much this unique model will set you back. 

How much does the 2022 Ram TRX Sandblast cost? 

Make sure you’re sitting down because this price could be quite the shock. The 2022 Ram TRX Sandblast costs $100,080. On a positive note, this price includes the destination fee. But it doesn’t include dealership markups. 

The 2022 Ram 1500 TRX starts at about $77,780, which is already pretty darn expensive. So, it costs about $22,300 to upgrade from the base model to the Sandblast edition. But the desert-shredding super-truck could be worth it. 

According to AutoBlog, Ram Boss Mike Koval explained that fans wanted a ride that would stand out from the rest of the crowd. The Sandblast will allow them to do just that while providing the best combination of performance, capability, and technology in the segment. 

Stellantis is constantly expanding and exploring the better meet the needs and fuel the imaginations of passionate fans. The Sandblast is the latest example of how Ram trucks deliver features to win over more and more customers. 

What comes with the TRX Sandblast? 

The 2022 Ram TRX Sandblast comes with a unique shade of Mojave paint with a matching accent package. It’s brown and matches the shade of desert sand, making it easy for this truck to blend in with the horizon. 

The truck could disappear after doing donuts and kicking up sand in the desert. The appearance package is built upon the existing Ram 1500 TRX Level 2 build. It includes black 18-inch bead-lock capable wheels and the Sandblast graphics package. 

You’ll notice that the interior features Light Forst interior accent stitching with TRX embroidered in the seats. Attractive carbon accents and a unique HUD complete the look. 

A new Sandblast badge on the center console lets people know that this American truck has 702 hp, but it’s essentially an appearance package. You still have the same supercharged 6.2-liter V8 HEMI without any extra power or performance upgrades. 

Also, we hope gas prices come down soon because the Sandblast is thirsty. The Ram 1500 gets an EPA-estimated 10 mpg in the city and up to 14 mpg on the highway. 

Does the Sandblast have nice features? 

Yes, the 2022 Ram TRX Sandblast comes with the Level 2 equipment group, which provides luxurious comfort and convenience grades. This package costs about $7,750 to add on other trim levels. 

It has a head-up display, a 19-speaker premium audio system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated and ventilated seats, a surround-view camera system, rear window defroster, wireless charging pad, accent lighting, box lighting, and more. 

This package does seem worth it if you are attracted to the unique shade of brown and want luxurious amenities. But it’s not a must-have edition. You could save with a different model that has just as much power.
