You can opt for premium seat cloth, heated front seats, and an available Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. Overall, the 2022 Corolla Hybrid is pretty barebones, but it’s relatively generous for a hybrid car under $25,000.

The 2022 Camry Hybrid offers a more spacious interior than the Corolla 

NewCars.com says the Camry Hybrid’s larger head- and legroom in the rear provide better comfort for backseat passengers than the smaller Corolla Hybrid. Front-seat leg- and headroom are comparable for both models, but if you often travel with passengers, you’ll hear fewer complaints in the Camry Hybrid.

Both hybrid cars can seat up to five passengers, but the larger cabin space in the Camry means that three adults will fit more comfortably in the midsize hybrid than in the compact Corolla Hybrid.

The 2022 Corolla Hybrid delivers superior fuel economy in the city

Fuel economy ratings for the Camry Hybrid vs. Corolla Hybrid are neck-and-neck, but the 2022 Corolla pulls ahead slightly for efficiency estimates in the city. You can see around 53 mpg in city driving (“city” = anything that’s not cruising at 45-65 mph with no stops or big hills). There will always be a competitive toss-up between the Camry and the Corolla, but generally, it will always come down to the basics: price and practicality. If you’re just looking for a steady daily driver and commuter car, the 2022 Corolla delivers.
