Buyers of the 2022 Toyota Corolla have a choice of three powertrains: a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine (139 hp), a 2.0-liter cylinder engine (169 hp), and a hybrid (121 hp). Likewise, the 2022 Toyota Camry also offers three powertrain options: a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine (205 hp), a 3.5-liter V6 (301 hp), and a hybrid (208 hp).

In addition to the higher output for its powertrain options, the Camry offers a traction-enhancing all-wheel drive system. For the Corolla, you can only get a front-wheel drive system.
