According to Edmunds, the 1794 Edition is based on the Platinum trim, which begins at $58,685. This trim includes the 14-inch touchscreen, ambient interior lighting, heated and ventilated seats, a power sliding rear window, a wireless phone charger, leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera system, heated steering wheel, a digital instrument panel, household-style power outlets, a trailer backup guide system, premium JBL audio system, and more.
What comes with the Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition?
For an extra $700, you can access the 2022 Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition upgrades, such as the massive, unique chrome grille. Everything is bigger in Texas, and you can spot that grille from a mile away. Chrome 1794 badges sit on the front doors.
The interior consists of Rich Cream or Saddle Brown leather upholstery with American Walnut wood-grain trim. 1794 and a star are laser etched into the wood. Also, the center console armrests and dash are covered in leather.
The 10-way power-adjustable seats have contrast stitching with four-way power-adjustable lumbar support. The steering wheel and gear shifter are wrapped in leather too.
You also get 1794 Edition all-weather floor mats. They are made of durable rubber but have carpet in the center. I was worried about messing up the carpet at first, but it held up to moisture and mud.
The seats and other soft-touch materials are incredibly comfortable. It’s easy to find the perfect driving position with plenty of support. However, the ride is a bit bumpy over rough patches of road. We experienced some rattling in the cabin while going over larger bumps.
Our model was equipped with the i-FORCE 3.6-liter V6 engine with 348 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. We averaged about 16.8 mpg on country roads, mountain curves, and downtown city areas.

The Tundra 1794 Edition is worth buying. It’s only an extra $700 compared to the Platinum trim and builds upon its luxury with even more comfort. Plus, you get a massive, flashy look that’s unique to Texas.
