Resolved water pump problems from previous models may still give potential buyers some pause when considering a new Audi A3. Other A3 reliability concerns involve coolant loss, though this particular model has seen no reported issues as of this writing.

With so few issues to report, it seems as though the 2023 Audi A3 is a reliable compact luxury sedan. While the J.D. Power rating ranks it as average with a score of 78/100, owners report no common or widespread issues with the latest A3 models since going on sale. Couple that with a robust, long-standing engine platform in the EA888 2.0-liter turbo, and we don’t foresee drivers having major reliability concerns with new Audi A3 models.
