Though we don’t have too much info about the 2023 Chevrolet Camaro and its order sheet, information is slowly coming down the pipeline as to what will and will not be available to order. Camaro fans are waiting on the edge of their seats for the first deliveries of 2023 models. However, not much has been released about the newest iteration of Chevy’s iconic sports car except for the pricing. Now, though, we have a bit more insight.

No more satin black trim components starting with the 2023 model year

According to GM Authority, the 2023 Chevrolet Camaro order sheet does not offer black trim components anymore.

For the 2022 model year Camaro, the Satin Black Package was a dealer-installed option that added Satin Black rocker moldings and a Satin Black front splitter. It cost $1,995 to equip to your 2022 Camaro order when it was available.

Additionally, discontinuing this package also ended the Black Accent Exterior Package, which was a $4,095 option. This package included the Satin Black components above. However, it also included either 20-inch 5-spoke Satin Black wheels or 21-inch 5-spoke Satin Black Wheels, depending on whether or not you purchased an SS trim level.

Getting rid of these options seems a bit interesting, given that black wheels and accents on vehicles seem like a pretty popular modification. However, the removal of them must indicate that Chevrolet didn’t see a lot of orders with these packages on Camaro examples. That’s a bit of a bummer because it looks pretty cool!

Other packages removed from the order sheet for the 2023 Camaro include optional interior trim kits and the sport pedals kit. Aside from these changes, the 2023 Camaro remains essentially the same as the 2022 model. However, it does offer a pair of new paint colors. For the first time, Camaro buyers can get either Radiant Red or Sharkskin Metallic finishes on their cars.

How much is a 2023 Chevy Camaro?

GM Authority reports that the 2023 Camaro has a starting price of $29,695 MSRP for an example equipped with the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a six-speed manual transmission. Of course, 3.6-liter V6 and 6.2-liter V8 options are also available. In the top-of-the-line ZL1 trim 2023 Camaro, MSRP starts at an eye-watering $75,690. As one might imagine, prices range from anything and everything between the two.

Unfortunately, the production of the 2023 Chevrolet Camaro got pushed back by nearly two weeks in early June. GM Authority reports that the cars began production at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan on June 17th. So, shoppers for the 2023 model year should soon be able to get their hands on one.

It’s probably best to do so if you’re a Camaro enthusiast, too. Chevrolet confirmed that 2024 will be the final model year for the iconic sixth-generation Camaro. Unfortunately for muscle car fans, the replacement for the Camaro will likely be electric power.
