When will the 2023 Chevy Blazer be released and available?
The 2023 Chevy Blazer will arrive in the Summer of 2022, reports MotorTrend. It will be available for sale at Chevrolet dealerships throughout the United States, as well as in select international markets. Trim choices for buyers of the 2023 Blazer include LT (2LT and 3LT), RS, and Premier.
How much will the 2023 Chevy Blazer cost?
The starting price of the 2023 Chevy Blazer is $34,800 MSRP for the LT trim, $42,500 MSRP for the RS trim, and $42,500 MSRP for the Premier trim. For reference, the 2022 Blazer ranges from $33,400 MSRP for the LT trim up to $41,100 for the Premier trim.
2023 Chevy Blazer features: What’s new?
The 2023 Blazer features sharper exterior styling, especially for the front end. This includes a new front fascia and a new grille design, as well as styling upgrades for the headlights, daytime running lights, and taillights. Also, the refreshed crossover SUV has new 18”, 20”, and 21” wheel options.
Additionally, the 2023 Blazer adds new exterior paint color options, which cost extra:
- Fountain Blue
- Sterling Gray
- Metallic
- Copper Bronze Metallic
- Radiant Red Metallic
For the interior, the 2023 Blazer has new standard technology features. This includes a wireless smartphone charger and a larger 10-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. Also, the Blazer is available with a Wi-Fi hotspot. Additionally, the RS trim offers a new Nightshift Blue interior color option.
The storage space for the 2023 Blazer is the same as the 2022 Blazer. It has a rear cargo capacity of 30.5 cu-ft and a maximum cargo capacity of 64.2 cu-ft.
2023 Chevy Blazer specs: Two engine options
The 2023 Blazer offers the same two engine options as the 2022 Blazer. The turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four-cylinder engine generates 228 hp, and the 3.6-liter V-6 engine produces 308 hp. Both of the engines are mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. You can buy the 2023 Blazer with either a front-wheel drive or an all-wheel drive system.
The 2023 Blazer offers the same roster of safety-enhancing driving assistance features as the 2022 Blazer. This includes standard automatic high beams, lane departure warning, forward collision alert, front pedestrian braking, following distance indicator, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. The one change for driving assistance features for the 2023 model year is adaptive cruise control is newly available for the 2LT and 3LT trims.
Is the 2023 Chevy Blazer better than the 2022 Blazer?
While the updates to the 2023 Blazer are relatively minor, the styling changes make it a more attractive SUV compared to the 2022 Blazer. Also, the technology upgrades, including the standard wireless smartphone charger and larger touchscreen, are appealing changes as well.
