Other notable features include all-terrain tires installed at the factory as well as a slight lift. The 2023 Colorado Trail Boss even sits on a wider chassis which makes this mid-size truck look more aggressive. The Trail Boss package also adds four selectable drive modes along with a 2-speed auto transfer case with a shield. The mark of a true off-road mid-size truck.
Is the 2023 Colorado Trail Boss worth it?
Chevy has yet to announce specific pricing for the 2023 Colorado, but Car and Driver estimates that the Trail Boss will likely cost around $40,000. For a mid-size pickup, that is not necessarily cheap. But, if you do not want to splurge on the ZR2 trim and still want 4×4 capability, it might be worth it to you.
The Trail Boss is an all-new trim for the Chevy Colorado. And undoubtedly, it will be a popular option at the dealership. Especially with its widened chassis and aggressive design. The Chevy Colorado Trail Boss will have more power than competitors like the Jeep Gladiator and Honda Ridgeline, even though it does not offer a V6 engine. Perhaps one of the downsides is that the Colorado is now just available as a crew cab with a five-foot bed.
