Transmission choices include a standard eight-speed automatic or an available 10-speed automatic — and for the drive system, options are a standard rear-wheel drive or an available four-wheel drive. Also, on the towing front, when properly equipped, the Silverado 1500 can tow up to 13,300 pounds.
