Buyers of the 2023 Chevy Trailblazer have a choice of two turbocharged engine options. The turbo 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine generates 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque, while the turbo 1.3-liter three-cylinder engine produces 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque.

The Trailblazer can be equipped with either a front-wheel drive (FWD) or a traction-enhancing all-wheel drive (AWD) system. FWD models have a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), while the AWD models feature a nine-speed automatic transmission. Also, the Trailblazer has selectable drive modes, including settings for Sport, Snow, Normal, and AWD (if equipped).

According to Chevrolet, you can now build and price a 2023 Trailblazer on their site, but as of September 16, 2022, there is no test drive option, so models will likely actually hit roads in late 2022. GM Authority shared that Chevy started production of the Trailblazer on April 24th. The Chevy Trailblazer is built at GM’s plants in Incheon, South Korea, and Shanghai, China.
