Ford is very much aware that nostalgia sells, which is why it brought the Bronco back in not one, but two vehicles. The American automaker has released both the Bronco and a smaller crossover SUV known as the Bronco Sport. Ford has released the 2023 Bronco Sport Heritage Limited Edition to really up the nostalgia bait, which offers some stellar features that may draw even more shoppers in. Or will it?

Why is the 2023 Bronco Sport Heritage Limited Edition so special?

The all-new 2023 Bronco Sport Heritage Limited Edition is a perfect blend of modern features that shoppers crave, along with some of the styling that made the 1966 Bronco so popular with the off-roading community, according to J.D. Power. It continues to hold up the Bronco legacy by offering a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with advanced AWD, underbody skid plates, 29-inch knobby tires, and off-road suspension.

Ford doesn’t stop there and makes sure that the interior is just as great as the exterior. It does this by including heated power front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. It’s the best of the off-roading world and luxury, and the Bronco Sport is selling well. In fact, in 2021, it actually outsold the Kia Soul. 

Some of the retro features that have the Bronco Sport Heritage Limited Edition turning heads are the front door nameplate script, alloy wheels, safari roof, and lift-gate “BRONCO” block lettering. These drivers will probably pass on the white wheels, as they don’t want to spend much time cruising through a car wash. Plenty of other Bronco Sport trims are available, however, and each has its unique charm.
