The 2023 Ford Maverick Order Banks Are Already Closing
Hurry, don’t miss your chance to buy the Ford Maverick again. The 2022 models went in the blink of an eye, and things aren’t slowing down. The 2023 Ford Maverick trims are going like hotcakes and could be gone by the end or tonight.
2023 Ford Maverick orders are closing
Don’t blink, or you might miss the 2023 Ford Maverick. This little truck has a big demand, and according to Ford Authority, sources familiar with the matter say that the order banks could close by the end of the week.
Some rumors suggest that the orders for the hybrid model close by 10 p.m. EST tonight, and orders for the gas-powered models close tomorrow.
This decision comes after demand for the 2023 model has been much higher than expected. Plus, Ford already has a number of 2022 backorders to fill.
Ford may close the order banks to focus on filling existing orders. However, you might not be out of luck. You can still order stock units. The supply chain constraints for the 2023 Maverick are primarily related to new features and packages.
What’s new for the 2023 Maverick?
We get to see the 2023 Ford Maverick Tremor debut this year, with more rugged styling and off-roading upgrades. It’s available with the XLT and Lariat trims and requires AWD. It’s not available with the hybrid powertrain.
The Maverick Tremor has a 1.0-inch suspension lift and rides on dark grey anodized 170inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires. Steel skid plates protect the undercarriage.
Plus, the transmission cooler and half shafts were upgraded to enhance its off-roading performance. The AWD system has a twin-clutch differential that can be locked as needed.
It has Trail Control, which acts as a low-speed cruise control system for the trails. Add the Tremor Appearance package for the grey roof, Tremor Orange accents, and black body side graphics.
There’s a new Black Appearance package that’s limited to the XLT and Lariat trims. It comes with machine-finished 18-inch black aluminum wheels. Black covers the grille, badging, and side mirrors too.
The interior features black upholstery that covers the seats and door panels. Plus, the instrument panel is black. This can be combined with the Tremor package.
How much does the 2023 Maverick cost?
The 2023 Ford Maverick price starts at $22,195, which is $1,200 more than the outgoing model. It starts with the hybrid powertrain, but you can upgrade to the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine for $1,000. The top-spec Lariat trim increases the price to over $26,000.
You can add the Tremor Package for $2,995. The Tremor Appearance package tacks another $1,495 to the total. Adding AWD costs $3,330, so this little truck can get expensive in a hurry. You can save with the slightly less capable FX4 package.
The hybrid powertrain still can’t be paired with AWD, but perhaps that will change. This is a popular demand from Ford fans. Rumors about the Ford Maverick ST are still circulating too.
We aren’t sure how hard the Maverick is being hit by supply chain constraints, but we do know it’s selling out quickly. Get your Maverick before they’re gone or face waiting for the 2024 model.
