How much is a brand-new 2023 Toyota Camry?

A new, entry-level 2023 Toyota Camry LE with a 2.5L inline four-cylinder engine starts at around $26,220. However, prudent hunters will stretch a bit further for the much more efficient Camry Hybrid LE, which starts at $28,355. 

That puts the base model Toyota sedan below the 2023 Honda Accord in terms of cost. For instance, the entry-level 2023 Honda Accord LX starts at $27,295, or a little over $1,000 more than the Camry LE. Moreover, the cheaper base model Camry out-muscles the Accord LX. The Camry produces around 203 horsepower from its 2.5L mill compared to the Honda model’s 192 ponies courtesy of a turbocharged 1.5L four-cylinder engine. 

What is the difference between the 2023 Camry LE and SE?

The 2023 Toyota Camry LE is the entry-level trim in the model’s lineup. It starts at a lower price point and offers fewer amenities than the higher-tier SE. For instance, the SE adds a steering wheel with leather trim, synthetic-leather front seats, dual exhaust, a painted rear spoiler, and a black grille to the LE’s standard features. 

According to TrueCar, the LE packs a generous assortment of standard equipment, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, dual-zone climate control, split-folding rear seats, and remote keyless access. In comparison, the 2023 Honda Accord LX is similarly well-equipped to the entry-level Camry. For instance, the Accord LX has a standard 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, just like the Camry. However, unlike the Toyota model, the Accord base goes without dual-zone climate control. 

Does the Honda Accord have good mileage?

The Honda Accord has good gas mileage, especially with hybrid trims. For instance, the entry-level 2023 Honda Accord LX gets around 29 mpg city and 37 mpg highway. However, the Accord Hybrid EX-L can get as much as 51 mpg city and 44 mpg highway.
