2023 Honda HR-V specs: Will it have the same engine options as the Honda Civic?
While the 2023 Honda HR-V offers a hybrid version in the European market, in the United States, all models have a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which generates 158 hp. For efficiency, the HR-V has an estimated gas mileage of up to 28 combined mpg.
The European-spec next-generation Honda HR-V will be powered by the same hybrid powertrain that’s in the Honda Accord and Honda Insight. However, Honda hasn’t said whether or not it will offer a hybrid version of the HR-V in the U.S.
New design for the 2023 Honda HR-V
Honda released holiday card-style wintery stretches of the redesigned 2023 HR-V. Compared to the 2022 HR-V, the front end of the 2023 HR-V is more aggressive and has a more distinctive lower fascia. The grille of the 2023 HR-V features an S-shaped mesh pattern. Also, the hood is lower, and the headlights have a boxier shape.
For the back of the 2023 HR-V, the redesigned crossover slopes down more steeply compared to the 2022 model. Also, the taillights are more curved, while the lower portion of the rear bumper features body-color styling. Additionally, relative to the European-spec version of the next-generation HR-V, the U.S.-spec 2023 HR-V appears to be larger.
