These trim levels use a 2.5L four-cylinder engine with 191 hp and 181 pound-feet of torque. If all-wheel drive is selected, that drops to 22 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway.
The Santa Fe Limited and Caligraphy trims get a 2.5L turbo four-cylinder engine with 281 hp and 311 pound-feet of torque. Fuel Economy is 22 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway with front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive drops that to 21 mpg city, 28 mpg highway.
Hyundai also offers the Santa Fe in a Hybrid powertrain that gets between 33-36 mpg in the city and 30-31 mpg on the highway. If that isn’t enough, the 2023 Santa Fe comes in a Plug-in Hybrid option that gets 30 miles of all-electric range. This works out to 76 mpg MPGe.
