The 2023 Jeep Gladiator Got an Affordable Off-Roading Package
If you’re looking for ways to save with a stout off-roading truck, then the Jeep Gladiator could provide the answer. Soon, off-roading options offered with higher trim levels will be available at a significant discount. Let’s see what to expect with the 2023 Jeep Gladiator Sport Off-Road group.
What comes with the 2023 Jeep Gladiator Sport Off-Road Group?
The 2023 Jeep Gladiator Sport Off-Road Group bundles trail-focused features at an incredible discount that’s exclusive for the Sport or entry-level trim. It’s an affordable way to get close to the well-equipped Willys models.
It has the Auxiliary Switch Group, which is a $495 option to add. The Group includes four programable auxiliary switches, a 240-amp alternator, and a 700-amp maintenance-free battery. The other options aren’t available with the Gladiator Sport.
So the Off-Road Group is the only way to access an upgraded sport suspension, 17-inch x 7.5-inch black aluminum wheels, and 32-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain KM2 tires without moving to a higher trim level.
The 2023 Gladiator Sport has standard steel wheels and 31.5-inch all-season tires. AutoBlog shared that the package costs $895 compared to over $2,000 to add these features independently. This provides about a 60% discount.
You can get started with the 2023 Gladiator for about $38,775, so the Off-Road Group increases the cost to $39,670.
What comes with the 2023 Gladiator Willys?
The 2023 Jeep Gladiator Willys is based on the Sport and the Sport S trim. This model rides on 17-inch black aluminum wheels wrapped in aggressive BFGoodrich KM2 32-inch mud-terrain tires.
Plus, it has a limited-slip differential with the same shocks and rock rails from the range-topping Rubicon trim. All weather mats protect the interior from mud and slush.
The Gladiator Willys catches the eye with a gloss black grille, Willys decal, and black badging. The interior features black accents as well.
Also, the 2023 Gladiator Willys has a 7.0-inch infotainment screen with the technology group and convenience group. This provides heated mirrors, a 7.0-inch digital gauge cluster, a power-locking tailgate, and remote start.
Pricing for the Gladiator Willys Sport starts at $41,085, and the Willys begin at around $46,715. So the Sport Off-Road Group could save you thousands.
The 3.6-liter V6 engine with 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque is standard. It can be paired with a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic transmission. You can upgrade to the turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine for 260 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque.
What’s new for the 2023 Gladiator?
Aside from the Off-Road Group, the 2023 Jeep Gladiator gains a new Freedom Edition Package. It has a winch-capable front steel bumper, steel rock rails, LED headlights, LED foglights, and body-colored fender flares.
The interior includes black accents, leather-trimmed cloth seats, and black accent stitching. Plus, the American flag decal and Oscar Mike badge help it pop. It’s available for $3,295. Other than that, the Gladiator added a few more standard features to each trim.
The 2023 Jeep Gladiator is pretty expensive, but it’s also the most capable mid-size truck available. We can’t wait to see how the more affordable Gladiator Sport Off-Road model compares. It should be added to the live configurator soon.
