The 2023 Lincoln Navigator Only Gets 2 Minor Changes
While some SUVs are undergoing significant changes, Lincoln is sticking with its winning formula. The 2023 Lincoln Navigator doesn’t change much over the last version, but the sport utility vehicle didn’t need to change. For a full-size luxury SUV, the Navigator delivers comfort, power, and all the creature comforts drivers want.
The 2023 Lincoln Navigator is a full-size luxury SUV
According to Ford Authority, the 2023 Lincoln Navigator is pretty much the same as last year. Ford’s Navigator will again come in three trim levels: Standard, Reserve, and Black Label. The extended-length Navigator L will come in the same Reserve L, and Black Label L trims. Lincoln decided to remove Flight Blue from the options and replace it with Diamond Red Metallic Tri-Coat.
Even though Lincoln isn’t making many edits to the 2023 Navigator SUV, Edmunds still gave it high marks during its review. With an MSRP range of $77,635 to $109,120, the luxury SUV comes packed with features. All trim levels get a 440 hp V6 engine with 510 lb-ft of torque that gets 16 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway. That works out to 18 mpg combined, which Edmunds says is about $221 monthly in fuel.
With three rows of comfortable seats and room for up to eight people, maybe there was nothing to change for 2023.
How much does a fully loaded 2023 Lincoln Navigator cost?
Pricing for the 2023 Lincoln Navigator starts at $79,725 for the Standard trim and goes up to $112,300 for the Black Label L. Lincoln says the Black Label L is for the driver and passengers who want it all. This full-size luxury SUV has black accents and a black roof with gloss black roof rails. Lincoln also offers a Central Park and Invitation theme, both of which offer an upgraded interior.

Some of the essential safety systems included on the 2023 Navigator Black Label L are Pre-Collision Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Post-Collision Braking. On top of that, the Navigator gets plenty of airbags. Side impact airbags, dual-stage front airbags, and a four-wheel disc anti-lock braking system help slow the luxury SUV down.
The Navigator has the potential to last 200,000 miles or more
A recent iSeeCars study looked at sales of more than two million vehicles to determine which ones have the potential to last the longest. Trucks and SUVs were the clear winners, taking up most of the top 20. However, both the Lincoln Navigator and Lincoln Navigator L made the list. iSeeCars found that the regular Navigator has a potential lifespan of 220,319 miles, and the L has the potential to run for 214,341 miles.
The 2023 Lincoln Navigator can last 200,000 miles or more with proper care and maintenance. Even though it has a higher starting price, the Navigator still offers plenty to those looking for a luxury sport utility vehicle. Lincoln knows a thing or two about producing luxury SUVs, and the 2023 Navigator is no departure from that.
