For the first time in a while, the 2022 Nissan Frontier was a worthy player. In the crowded midsize truck segment, getting a leg up on the competition is difficult. Now, for the new Frontier, some things are changing. Not only is the price getting a little higher, but some new equipment is joining the lineup. That includes all-new tech and standard features that were never included with Frontier base models. The 2023 Nissan Frontier starts over $30,000 and gains tech upgrades.

Compared to the 2022 model year, the 2023 Frontier is a little more expensive. According to Nissan USA, the 2022 version of the midsize truck started at $29,190. Moreover, keeping the base model under $30,000 is a massive bonus for its segment. Many trucks have gotten more expensive, so the first number in any price being two is a good sign. However, the 2023 Frontier will now start above the $30,000 mark.

According to Cars.com, the 2023 Nissan Frontier S King Cab starts at $30,485. In addition, it sees a roughly $500 price increase across all trim levels. Cars.com says the crew-cab long-bed SV with the new Convenience package is also up by $1,430. Alternatively, Pro models (the top of the lineup) rose in price by about $600 each. Whichever version of the Frontier interests you, it’s probably at least a little more expensive than last year.
