2023 Nissan SUVs: A Guide to the Latest Rogue, Murano, Pathfinder, and More
Nissan has gained attention for several of its SUVs and crossovers. Offering safety, reliability, and appealing design, the brand has strived to remain competitive in a crowded segment. Here’s a look at Nissan’s 2023 SUVs.
2023 Nissan Kicks
The Nissan Kicks is the least expensive SUV model in the brand’s lineup. According to Nissan, the price begins at $20,290 and goes up to $22,850 (before any options are added). You’ll get some nice features, like lane departure warning, rear automatic braking, and pedestrian detection combined with automatic emergency braking.
Powering up this subcompact SUV is a 1.6-liter engine paired with a CVT, which enables the Kicks to get around 36 mpg on the highway.
2023 Rogue Sport
According to Car and Driver, this compact crossover model was supposed to get phased out in 2022. However, with the Qashqai (Europe’s name for the Rogue Sport) hitting markets in other countries, the publication is betting that if Nissan chose to bring it to U.S. soil, it would be for the 2023 model year. If it does, prices are loosely estimated to begin at $25,000. If it does show up here, you’ll likely get a gasoline four-cylinder engine paired with a CVT, and not a hybrid version, at least not yet.
2023 Nissan Rogue
Nissan’s Rogue is still going strong for another model year. The 2023 version offers the brand’s Safety Shield 360 package, digital dashboard, head-up display, and a 1.5-liter VCT three-cylinder engine. There are five different trims to choose from on this compact SUV. Each one has the front-wheel drive as standard equipment. Prices for the Rogue begin at $27,360 and can go as high as $50,000 for a fully loaded model.
2023 Nissan Murano
This is one of Nissan’s midsize SUVs, and it comes with a 3.5-liter V6 engine paired with an Xtronic CVT. This combination allows it to get 28 mpg on the highway. The model also comes with a front-wheel drive standard, but you can opt for an available intelligent all-wheel drive system. Pricing begins at $33,660 for the base model and goes up to $45,210 for the Platinum trim before you add any extras. Nissan considers this version its most “Thrilling SUV.”
2023 Nissan Pathfinder
The other midsize offering in Nissan’s lineup is the Pathfinder, which is priced at $35,000 for the base model and goes up to $47,970 before extras are added. Since this is the brand’s off-roading version, there are plenty of valuable features to help you have a fun time on rougher terrain. This model comes with 2WD as standard, but you can opt for 4X4. Under the hood is a 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 284 hp, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The Rock Creek Edition offers 295 hp for a more enhanced off-roading experience.
2023 Nissan Ariya
The Ariya is one of the full-size models Nissan offers, and it’s the brand’s all-electric version. You can expect to pay around $47,190 for the base without extras. If you choose the highest trim, the Platinum+, you will pay a starting price of $60,190. Driving ranges vary from 205 to 289 miles. However, the base trim offers an extended range of 304 miles, so if you can do without some of the extras seen on higher trims, stick with the entry-level version.
2023 Nissan Armada
The Armada is one of Nissan’s powerhouses, with a 5.6-liter V8 engine producing 400 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque. It also has a seven-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. You can get many driving assistance features such as blind-spot monitoring, forward collision mitigation, lane-departure mitigation, parking sensors, and rear cross-traffic alert. This full-size SUV can tow up to 8,500 pounds and seat up to eight passengers. The Armada is Nissan’s most expensive SUV, starting at $49,900 for the base model to $66,200 before extras for the Platinum trim.
Nissan’s lineup offers plenty for anyone considering an SUV or crossover. From subcompact to full-size, you have more than enough to meet your driving needs, whether you’re a family or an off-roading adventurist.
