Both of these trucks can come with heated and cooled seats, and the driver’s seat is supportive. I haven’t been inside the 2023 F-150 yet, but top trims even offer massaging front seats. And for folks making longer drives, that will probably be appreciated.
At the end of the day, these full-size trucks show just how far pickups have come. I don’t know about you, but when I was growing up, most trucks just had a simple front bench seat.

The Ford Raptor R is nothing to scoff at, but it has slightly less horsepower than the Ram TRX. However, the Raptor trim has been around for longer. So in terms of recognition, more folks probably know about the Ford Raptor since it’s been a trim option for some time.
Ram’s full-size truck can be better to drive
When it comes to the driving experience, both of these pickups ride like trucks. But the Ram 1500 has an optional air suspension. Because of that, you can expect better ride quality if that is a feature that you opt for.
It seems like Ram has gone to great lengths to make a truck that is comfortable and can feel luxurious. It is more expensive than the 2023 Ford F-150, and that is especially true once you start looking at the higher trim levels.

In terms of sales, Ram trucks came in third. That puts the Ram 1500 behind the Chevy Silverado and the Ford F-150. According to Motor1, Ram did outsell GMC trucks by over 220,000 units.
Even so, it looks like truck buyers are more attracted to the F-Series pickup. That’s not all that surprising; this Blue Oval product has been the number-one selling truck for 46 consecutive years.
