The Subaru Symmetrical AWD system and X-Mode with Hill Descent Control and Active Torque Vectoring are standard across all trims. Plus, the Ascent has an 8.7-inch ground clearance for climbing over obstacles.
High trim levels include the dual-mode X-MODE system with Hill Descent Control. It has extra off-roading modes for SNOW/DIRT and DEEP SNOW/MODE to optimize its performance in inclement weather situations.
The 180-degree front view camera and surround-view monitor system enhance visibility to help drivers navigate through tight areas in the city and in the wild. Plus, the standard rear view camera now includes a washer for clear views.
