2023 Subaru Impreza: Specs and Trim Pricing
The Subaru Impreza is due for a major refresh, but we’re seeing some carryover specs at this point. Subaru typically updates their cars on a strict five-year schedule. However, the 2022 Impreza carried over unchanged from the year before, and it seems we can expect the same engine option in 2023. Read on for 2023 Impreza specs and trim pricing.
2023 Subaru Impreza specs, changes, and updates
What will the 2023 Impreza look like? Historically, the WRX, Impreza, and Crossover have all shared a platform. Now that Subaru has released specs, features, and pricing, we can confirm Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive on every trim level.
The 2023 Impreza will also keep its four-cylinder BOXER engine. It will not see a horsepower bump over the typical 152 hp.
Manuals are slowly disappearing, but lucky for Subaru fans, the base Impreza options and the 5-Door Sport maintain a hand-shaker option.
2023 Subaru Impreza interior features
We’ll likely see improved cabin quality in the 2023 Impreza’s interior if it receives the full redesign that we’re anticipating. Supply chain issues leading to a lack of certain materials may delay the arrival of some features. However, we expect that the new model will offer most of the cabin features and interior accessories found in the 2022 model.
Base Impreza models are sparsely decorated, but overall comfortable. Subarus get a bad reputation for being boring, but the brand knows how to take care of a driver. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard on all models. A 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system comes standard on Base and Premium models, bumping up to an 8.0-inch screen on higher trims.
We anticipate that the 2023 Impreza sedan and hatchback will offer a similar list of features.
When does the 2023 Subaru Impreza come out?
As of 9/14/2022, the 2023 Impreza can be built and priced on the Subaru site, so models should hit roads sometime soon.

Premium Sedan: $23,195

2023 Subaru Impreza vs. competitors
The 2023 Impreza compact car will compete with a number of other small sedans and hatchbacks. Some of its biggest rivals are the Honda Civic, the Toyota Corolla, Mazda3, and the Kia Forte.
The Impreza has always stood out as one of the most affordable cars in the class, and the only car that offers AWD standard on every model. With seven configurations, additional package options, and a nicely-equipped trim for under $25,000, the 2023 Impreza should remain a tough competitor.
