On the performance front, the standard 2023 Toyota Corolla features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which generates 169 horsepower. Additionally, the Corolla offers a hybrid powertrain, which produces up to 134 horsepower.

For greater performance, you can choose the all-new GR Corolla. The GR Corolla has a 1.6-liter 3-cylinder turbocharged engine, which generates 300 horsepower.

The 2023 Toyota Camry also offers three engine options: a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine (205 horsepower), a 3.5-liter V-6 engine (301 horsepower), and a hybrid (208 horsepower). Compared to the Corolla, the Camry has both a higher base engine horsepower output and maximum horsepower output. Also, like the Corolla, the Camry offers an available all-wheel drive system.

With its smaller size, lower weight, and tighter turning circle, the Corolla is more maneuverable than the Camry. This maneuverability is helpful for driving through traffic, moving through curves and around corners, parking, and backing up the vehicle.

Which Toyota car costs more: the 2023 Corolla or the 2023 Camry? The starting price of the 2023 Camry ranges from $25,945 MSRP for the LE trim up to $36,370 MSRP for the XSE V6 trim. 

For the 2023 Corolla, the official price information is not yet available. However, the 2023 Corolla will probably cost slightly more than the 2022 Corolla. The starting price of the 2022 Corolla ranges from $20,425 MSRP for the L trim up to $28,710 MSRP for the APEX XSE trim. However, Toyota is discontinuing the L trim for the 2023 model year, so the entry-level model will be the LE trim, which has a starting price of $20,875 MSRP for the 2022 version.
